Hugh Dodson
President
Paragon’s President Hugh Dodson is a veteran senior executive in media, entertainment and sports and an NFLPA-certified agent. He was previously the COO/CFO of The Gersh Agency
(TGA) for eight years and chief architect of TGA Sports, where he guided that
iconic talent agency’s successful entry into sports management. As the only non-family member on TGA's board of directors, Hugh was in charge of
virtually all operational aspects of the agency and spearheaded their new
business development and corporate expansion initiatives.
Moreover, Hugh's senior experience in the media and entertainment industry spans
the past 20 years. He has an extensive background in finance and operations
from his work as a senior financial analyst in the filmed entertainment
divisions of Walt Disney Studios and MGM/UA. His strategic business expertise
covers turnaround and management of established and start-up businesses in
accelerated growth cycles as well as in-depth experience in marketing,
advertising and promotion. He has also managed companies in the commercial
production and post production field as related to feature films, broadcasting
and cable.
A graduate of Arizona State University, Hugh is a board member of the Pacific
Palisades Baseball Association and also a volunteer youth sports coach, coaching athletes 13
and under in two sports. He lives in Brentwood, California with his three amazing sons.
